Candle care
Here are a few safety steps for you to follow to make sure you care for your candles:
Make sure to trim your wick between 5mm to 1cm before your first burn, this will give you a cleaner and brighter burn and will help prevent smoke.
On your first burn, it’s important to make sure you burn your candle for at least 2 hours or until the top has completely liquified. This will help prevent tunnelling (a build up of wax on the side of the jar) and make sure that your candle burns evenly. Never burn for longer than 3 hours.
Once cooled and the wax has solidified, trim your wick between 5mm to 1cm, this will help avoid wick mushrooming. It will help reduce the flame, reduce the smoke and make your candle last longer. This also ensures the next time you burn your candle it is even and the flame is a safe size.
Only burn the candle on a level fire-resistant surface, away from open windows, drafts and flammable items. Always leave at least 10cm between burning candles. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep out of reach of pets and children.

Why natural & paraffin-free candles?
Unlike paraffin candles, plant-based candles don’t release toxic carcinogens into the air. Also unlike paraffin, they are made from a renewable source and are biodegradable.
If you’re using a candle as part of a well-being routine, then paraffin candles aren’t ideal. You want a candle that isn’t filled with synthetic ingredients, you want a candle that binds the power and beauty of natural ingredients.
The wax used is a natural and plant based, it behaves differently to paraffin wax candles. Soy and coconut wax burns cleaner and doesn’t emit toxins into your home.
As a natural product you may see frosting in your wax. This is a unique and natural effect of using vegetable wax. The wax is trying to return back to its natural form and as a result it begins to crystallize. It doesn't affect the performance of the candle in any way and also means your wax is 100% natural.
Another benefit to natural wax is that it burns slower than cheaply manufactured paraffin waxes. This means your candle will last much longer... Bonus!
Why use essential oils in candles?
We use essential oils because they are pure and boost your well-being. Blending pure essential oils within natural wax means no synthetic fragrances are used.
Essential oils are used in aromatherapy due to their beneficial properties.
Aromatherapy works by releasing a natural scent using essential oils, these oils have been used for thousands of years to heal and enhance emotional wellness.
Burning these oils will allow you to benefit from their soothing effects creating a well-being experience.
A great solution for those who want to feel supported with calmness, happiness or perhaps unwind after a long day.

When posting we use FSC® certified kraft corrugated cardboard - these boxes are not only 100% recyclable, they're printed using eco-friendly plant-based inks too.
All products are hand gift wrapped with natural jute twine, which are composed of biodegradable materials.
We use an eco-friendly wrapping solution of white recyclable tissue paper and brown kraft paper which expands the die cut into a 3D honeycomb structure, a great sustainable alternative to bubble wrap.
No other plastics are used, even our parcel tape is made from renewable kraft paper.
How long is delivery?
Delivery is currently only within the UK, and orders are processed and dispatched within 5 working days from the date the order was submitted by you. Please expect some delays due to current Covid-19 situation.
All orders are sent standard 2nd class Royal Mail (3-5 business days), unless you decide to upgrade for 1st class "signed for" (2-3 business days).
Can I return my order?
We really hope you enjoy your purchase but if for some reason you are not, please get in touch.
Returns are accepted within 14 days of receiving your order. A refund will be offered if the product is unburned & not used. Return postage must be paid for by yourself. Refunds are for original priced products, excluding all delivery charges and sale items. Refunds will be processed to the original payment type that you used.
If you are unhappy with your order please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
